Nestled high on a mountain, this cabin's neighborhood offers the best of both worlds. While it enjoys a sense of seclusion, there are houses scattered nearby. Though these homes are not too close, they create a reassuring presence within sight. This allows for a sense of community while still maintaining privacy. The presence of neighboring houses adds a touch of comfort and security, reminding guests that they are not entirely isolated. Guests can relish in the breathtaking views of nature while occasionally glimpsing the beautiful homes that dot the mountainside.

Guest Access

You will have access to our entire home. Electronic lock box with unique codes for each guest for safety and security - 2 keys provided. Your unique code will be provided on your day of check-in for easy and convenient access.

Other Details to Note

Roads: The road is paved all the way from the main road to the cabin. Although snow here is rare, in the winter, 4WD or AWD may be necessary. Cell service is spotty in the mountains, we highly recommend you download the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel, just in case service is lost. Parking: Park immediately in front of the cabin. The driveway has been paved since the exterior photos were taken. Parking is available for 3 cars. Additional parking across the street for 1. GO TO THE END OF LADDIE BUCK AND TURN AROUND FOR EASIEST DRIVEWAY ENTRY. NO RVS OR TRAILERS Occupancy: 10 Person Maximum, including children and infants. Security Camera: There are two security cameras on the property for your safety and security. * One is located at the front of the property overlooking the driveway along with two motion activated flood lights. * The second camera is located near the front door. * Neither camera records audio and does not point or capture any private areas. * Please do not touch, cover or tamper with the cameras in any way. A $250 charge will be assessed and you will be asked to leave the property with no refund if the cameras and/or Wi-Fi are tampered with in any way. Smoking: This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin. If there is smoking you will be charged $250 to properly clean and get the smoke out. Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. Hot Tub: * Our tub will accommodate 5 people * The hot tub is for guests 18 and over only * Alcohol and glassware are NOT allowed near the hot tub. * You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or if you are pregnant. * Do not dive headfirst into the hot tub. * Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! Our housekeeper drains, cleans and refills the hot tub before your stay; therefore, it may not be warm when you arrive. The water temperature rises pretty quickly so please check and adjust the temperature upon your arrival should you plan to use it during your stay. Outdoor Grill: A large park style charcoal grill is provided for your use. Bring your own charcoal. Please clean out the grill after use. Trash: Please dump liquids into the sink and not into trash bags. Place all trash into trash bags and secure them in the bear-proof trash containers located in the driveway. We do not have regularly scheduled trash pick-ups. If needed, there is a trash drop-off convenience center at 3350 Birds creek Rd - about 13 minutes from the house. Critters: We subscribe to monthly pest control, however this cabin is in the wilderness, and with that comes bugs and other wild animals, including bears and snakes. Please practice bear safety. Remember to keep your doors locked, throw trash in the bear-proof containers, don't feed or try to approach a bear, and don't leave any food outdoors, including on the grill nor in your car. Pets: Pets are NOT allowed. We love pets, however some of our family members and guests are very allergic to pet dander. Please be considerate and make alternate vacation arrangements for your furry family members. There are many pet-friendly cabins in the area that would love to host your family. Check In/Out: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We do not offer early check-in nor late check-out. We do not allow check-ins nor check-outs on holidays.

When arriving at the cabin you will want to drive to the end of the street and turn around so you can enter the driveway properly. The driveway can easily fit 3 regular sized cars or 4 small compact cars. NO trailers/RVs due to location and limited parking.
